The running is good. I say...3 sets of 30 situps a day. 10 sets of 10 pushups a day. You can do half in the morning at half at night or all together.
Reverse Dips are pushups backwards...so, keep your stomach in the air...and bend your arms. Just look it up on google if this doesnt make sense.

Also some other things that I know will help upper body strength over all is pull ups and up-downs.... they work trust me.... 5x15 a day on pull ups.... you'll notice a huge improvement in about two weeks....

Your going to be able to find most of the people to talk under DFW. So that is the best bet right now.

(We are not great/not suki either..I would say Medium Level) A friend itroduced it to me and I have been hooked ever since!! Maybe you could put me on the map...McAllen/ or Mission, Texas. (Its down by the tip/right next to Mexico if you don't know where) Maybe you could give me some tips.. Thanks..

You will have to give us some specifics...but right now...just read through this thread and it will be able to talk to you about the proper conditioning and techniques so that you do hurt yourself when trying some of these Parkour elements.

Hello! I am from Mansfield, Texas. I am new to Parkour and look forward to enriching myself, meeting new people and getting back in shape. I am 24 and weigh 155lbs and I am 5' 10". I finally landed a cushy job so I want to become involved in Parkour to entertain my metabolism before I slump off.

aside from being two years older then me...those are my exact dimensions as well. Where is Mansfield? Near Houston?

any one can start at any age. recently i have seen a ton of "kids" training. by "kids" i mean 9-12, or so. if you start early you will be great when you get older.

Shadow, like Mike said, there is no "age limit." We've had members in our group that are 12 and 13, and we've had members that are in their 40's. Don't let age hold you back from practicing.

I'd suggest you work on getting a good diet and running every day and not so much on Parkour. If you're anything like I was, I grew like 1/2 an inch per month, I had to keep learning how to ride a bike. You can still do some Parkour, but some things you had no problem with before could trip you up the next week because you've grown an inch to your legs.
