Important Info About GYM JAMS.
Ok, Im starting this thread to clarify any questions related to any Gym Jam.
Please use this thread to ask specific questions and they will be answered A.S.A.P:
1. What do I need to do regarding travel to and from the jam and/or carpooling?
-- Austinites will be carpooling to the Jam and has some room if you need a ride.
-- If you are going to the Jam from out of town, get with the people in your area and carpool.
2. What will be the lodging situation if I plan on staying overnight?
--I will spell it out for you right here, including the extra changes of clothes and everything hehe. The lodging arrangements are a little...Squished I might say. I have an apartment about the size of a hotel room. I would bring Sleeping bags and pillows if you want to stay. For the amount of people that are staying at the apartment. I would like to know how many people are going to be coming and when so we can figure out. I have one couch and we can fit about...7 people in my apartment including me. That is about how much floor space I have.
3. What will the agenda include during the Jam?
-- You will have free use of equipment to practice what you would like. There will be stations set-up to work on specific moves and "gymnasty ninja monkeys" will be on hand to help you if you need it.
4. What do I need to bring to the Jam?
-- Your waiver or a parent to sign it (under 18)... Over 18 you will sign your own at the gym
-- your $15 for the gym rental fee
-- water or some other beverage to quench your thirst
-- Extra cash for food, pitch in on gas, or whatever
-- Clothes and shoes appropriate for the moves you will be executing
-- Overnight stuff if your staying the night
-- Good attitude and open mind
THANK YOU.
