Does anyone know of any places with lots of huge rocks/forested areas that would be good for some natural terrain Parkour? Similar to Enchated rock, but more vegetation and specifically trees good for lachers (swinging around basically). Like in some of the the David Belle videos, and well, lots of people have videos of some really good natural terrain locations. Bull Creek is good, but way too small.

What are you two talking about? And are sure you went to Mckinney falls (off 183) versus Mckinney Roughs (off 71). There really close to each other but...two different parks.

Those area's look good. McKinney Falls seems like it would be good, because we can stay free close by, and it just looks good to jump around on.

Actually all of these places are in driving distance from Austin. Reimers is the furthest, being about a hour away. So technically all of these places you can stay close to for free. Also we can always camp at my place, its of where 21 and 812 meet (halfway between bastrop and san marcus). Cool trees no cool rocks. But I do agree that Mckinney falls would be the best place to Parkour. I guess thats technically what me and my friends did when we went there. When the creek is low there are some really huge rock gaps, some of them you have to run to clear and have only two feet of rock to land on with out going into water. It made me nervous. I'm up for going out there next weekend Oct. 14 or Oct 21st if anyone else is. Its $8 dollars per car so it would behoove us to car pool. Also if you want to follow it up by horseback riding. My home (where my mama is), is only 15 mins from it.

Maltise - you would LOVE Pedernales State Park. There are some of the hugest & most fun to climb on & jump between boulders & rock formations I have ever seen. I can't begin to describe this place. It is heaven. A PK paradise for sure. I tried to find some good pics but none of them even begin to do it justice. You'll just have to see for yourself. It's just past Dripping Springs on 290 West. Not a far drive at all. Only cost $5 a person to get into the park. You guys would love this. Anytime anyone wants to go jam on some rocks & trees hit me up ;D

That place sounds great man! I think you, Randal, and I should go check it out and get an idea for where to go at the park, and then set up a jam. Randal/Micah when would you guys be up for scoping this place out?

Sounds great. I work wed, thurs & fri & am going to a friends wedding on sat & bc/maria's on sun so this week ain't happening for me.
Next week (turkey-week) I work Mon, Tues (not sure about wednesday except that I'm going out of town in the evening & coming back thurs eve). What about the possibility of that fri or saturday? Wait a minute, if the gym jam is that sat i'll be wanting to go to that. Is there a jam the 25th?
If so how about the Saturday following the gym jam? (Dec 2nd)
Anyways that's my calendar, Randal?

You know lost maples would be an awesome spot I think. Could even do a weekend camp/pk jam or something sometime. Some info www.tpwd.state.tx.us/spdest/findadest/parks/lost_maples/37221 FM 187, Vanderpool TX. 78885, (830)966-3413 www.tpwd.state.tx.us/spdest/findadest/hill_country/ There is a map that shows you where Lost Maples is. Fee's * From December - September: $5 per day, per person 13 and older, staying for day use only. $3 per day, per person 13 and older, staying overnight * From October - November: $6 per day, per person 13 and older, staying for day use only. $3 per day, per person 13 and older, staying overnight Just an idea. The area is BEAUTIFUL! I've only been there once but there should be enough to do. The website has some pictures.
