Does anyone have any recommendations for hotspots in the Southwest of San Antonio? I know a couple of small areas on both the Lackland and Medina Airforce Bases, but I'm not familiar with any other spots in this area. Anyway, I live in this area, so it would make solo training easier if I could go somewhere around here.

On base at Lackland AFB and Medina AFB would be great hotspots if it weren't for all of the SP's (Security Police--the Air Force cops). They don't take too kindly to PK yet...

I would recomend taht you take this up woth the general of the base and sign a contract saying you break it you buy it basically. They have army lawers who wouldnt mind doing it i bet. The general would make em do it anyways. Also they have a base paper maybe you could get in that so it would be more accepted.

Yeah sorry, I stay north side. Look for publicly funded or frequented places near hilly areas. They're extremely likely to be in strict adherence to the American's with Disabilities Act, which means they'll have lots of rails and drops and things. Besides that it's just a crap shoot, good luck. "There is not bad PK spot, just opportunities for the imagination."
Justen, not a terrible idea, but I'm not sure how functional it is. I like the base paper part, the other part might be difficult to get into action (paperwork and whatnot). Also, I don't see any reason an entity would want to even consider entering into such a contract. Contracts aren't full proof and they could still get sued. They're also hard to enforce.
Then again, it's worth a shot, not gonna know unless you try it I guess...

Yeah, I'm gonna try to give an all-call to any traceurs on base in "The Tailspinner" (the base newspaper). I've met the Base Commander and she'd never agree to the contract, but she might be open to a demonstration or 2--after all, there is a skateboard park on base. Food for thought anyway.
